WHAT IS HIM?
First launched in 2018, Healthcare in Missions (HIM) is a conference that aims to
unite, stir up and equip (USE) mission-minded Christians for
the evolving landscape of
cross-cultural healthcare missions today.
HIM 2020 is organised by a fellowship of students from various healthcare faculties across different universities,
brought together under the banner of the
Christian Medical & Dental Fellowship (CMDF) Student Ministry.
WHY HIM?
Healthcare In Missions (HIM) Conference 2018 was put together by a team of medical students who were inspired by their participation in the SEAMMC 2017 (Southeast Asian Medical Mission Conference) held in Bali. They returned with a vision to organise a conference, themed “Arise”, that would mobilize Singaporean healthcare professionals and students into the missional lifestyle.

Healthcare In Missions (HIM) Conference 2020 serves as an equipping and mobilisation platform, targeting mission-minded Christians who are either taking their first steps into the healthcare field, or finding their paths aligned to the avenue of healthcare in missions. HIM Conference 2020 seeks to meet them in their conviction that they are not just in for a professional career but for a lifetime of active participation in the mission of God.
